Dvořák, Václav
The topic of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the life trajectories of adolescents with risky behaviour, which consists of a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author addresses the question of why adolescents begin to engage in risky behaviour and details the factors that lead to this behaviour, including family, upbringing, peers and school. Next, the author examines the situation of adolescents with risky behavior in the criminal world and discusses various aspects of criminal careers, including participation, frequency, and length of career. The thesis also includes a chapter on primary prevention in education, and the final section focuses on two studies conducted to examine the impact of family and truancy on the development of risky behavior. The theoretical part used several graphical representations related to research and manifestations of risky behavior. Qualitative research was conducted as part of the bachelor's thesis to determine the influence of socialization factors on the development of risky behavior in adolescents. The research was conducted by interviewing four respondents who had and/or are experiencing risky behaviors.

Němcová, Tereza ; Uherek, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Grygar, Jakub (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the motivation of migration of young adults from the Moravian- Silesian region to the capital city of Prague. With the help of qualitative research, the thesis tries to present the motivation to migrate as an outcome of the current situation in the Moravian- Silesian Region. It is primarily a statement not only about individual decisions, but also about the impact of structural problems, inequalities, and socio-economic differences in Czech society on mobility and on the dynamics of demographic development. Using the examples of individual respondents, the thesis shows a certain specific life path typical for the children of the so-called "Husák children" generation from the Moravian-Silesian region. These life trajectories of the selected individuals are strongly connected with the idea of social success and the culture of migration that individuals adopt from their environment. Motivation to migrate is framed in the paper primarily using push and pull factors. The research is based on a series of in-depth episodic interviews with students and graduates of Prague universities. The main finding of the thesis is the crucial role of opportunities, in the areas of education, employment and the acquisition of social capital in the form of contacts, which functioned as the...

KEŇOVÁ, Hedvika
The topic of my bachelor's thesis are women's lives and life careers from the viewpoint of women at the beginning of senior age. This theme was elected for its topicality and still developing publication rate in the given issue, especially from the qualitative viewpoint. The main target of the thesis is to find out important life events and milestones which influenced the lives of women standing at the beginning of senior age at present and how they perceive them now. The topic focuses on the life stories of women and on their connection with important historic events having occurred during their life. In the theoretical part, the hitherto knowledge of this topic is summarised by means of the written documents. The study of lives, characteristic milestones in the life of women in the context with historic events and social environment are analysed and processed here. The research part of bachelor's thesis is elaborated in a qualitative way. For the data collection, oral-history method and the method of biographic talks were applied. For the evaluation, the method of putting down the formulas was applied by which the identical formulas in the life of women were described. In the discussion, the method of creating bunches was applied. Based on this method and the determined fields of life and categories, the target was postulated to describe the individual life stories of women enriched by their statements as well as to answer two research questions. Based on the evaluation of the acquired data, the first research question: where the respondents see the main differences in the life style in the time at the beginning of their active career and now was answered subsequently: the main change in the life of women was the change in the arrangement of the society in which they had lived at the beginning of their lives careers and in which they live now. In connection with this change, additional changes in their lives took place. The women perceive the changes in the family as well as work live, where the change is e.g. the uncertainty of work. The second research question was: which main life events influenced the life style of these women? In what aspects and how? The most frequently stated life events having influenced their ways of life are the possibility of study or decision on the field of study by their parents, wedding, maternity, death of a close person and detection of a serious illness. The bachelor's thesis deals with a topical sociological subject and it tries to bring this topic closer to the wide public as well as the students of sociology. It may represent a contribution also for the students of humanistic disciplines e.g. social work, where especially the individual attitude to the individual as well as his/her life story may be applied and utilized.
